Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Combine milk, sugar and yeast in a bowl and let sit for about 5 - 10 minutes. If it does not foam up, the yeast did "wake up" and you will need to try again.

  2. Once the yeast milk mixture is ready combine all ingredients together and knead for about 10 minutes. You may need a bit more flour, you do not want the dough too sticky.

  3. Place dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover and let rise for about 1 - 1 1/2 hours or until doubled in size.

  4. On a lightly floured surface, pour dough out and cut in half. Flatten your dough out into a rectangle with your fingers. You don't want the dough too thin.

  5. Roll into the shape of a log and place seam side down into a greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

  6. Preheat your oven to 350 and bake for 25-30 minutes. Once done, brush the top with butter and let completely cool until slicing.
